Foam rollers are used as a form of self-massage to get rid of adhesions in muscles and soft tissue. Before dancing, it is the perfect warm up to increase blood flow to muscles and create better flexibility, range of motion, and overall mobility by opening the fascia. Used after class, rehearsal, or performance, foam rolling helps with faster recovery by reducing inflammation, lactic acid, and joint stress. The foam puzzle pieces can be taken apart to use as a semi-circle for light stretches or used together as a high-density foam roller. The roller is 6 inches wide and 12 inches long.
